Fondue Dipping Sauce for Beef Fondue
You will need at least one fondue dipping sauce if you make beef fondue, and ideally, you should have a variety so that all your guests can find one that they really like. Here are a few dip recipes that I recommend for you and your guests.
Creamy Poppy Seed Dip 100 g (3.5 oz) Cream cheese 125 ml (1/2 cup) Cream, 10% 30 ml (2 tbs) Poppy seed 15 ml (1 tbs) Vodka 5 ml (1 tsp) Lime juice
1. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave. 2. Mix all ingredients. 3. Serve warm.
Creamy Mustard Dip 125 ml (1/2 cup) Butter 45 ml (3 tbs) Dijon mustard 65 ml (5 tbs) Worcestershire sauce
1. In a pan, combine and heat all ingredients until the butter melts. 2. Mix well. 3. Serve hot.
Horseradish Dip 300 ml (1 1/4 cup) Sour cream 20 ml (4 tsp) Prepared horseradish 30 ml (2 tbs) Lemon juice 15 ml (1 tbs) Onion, finely chopped 1 ml (1/4 tsp) Cayenne pepper Salt and pepper
1. Mix all ingredients together. 2. Add salt and pepper to taste. 3. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated. 4. Serve.
Creamy Wasabi Dip 125 ml (1/2 cup) Sour cream 15 ml (1 tbs) Green onions, thinly chopped 10 ml (2 tsp) Prepared wasabi Salt and pepper
1. Mix all the ingredients. 2. Add salt and pepper to taste. 3. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated. 4. Serve.
