This blue cheese fondue recipe brings in the distinctive flavor of French blue cheese to your kitchen. It's not similar to many other traditional recipes for cheese fondue as it contains milk instead of wine.

Cheese Fondue Recipe for the Whole Family

1Clove of Garlic
30 ml(2 tbsp)Butter
450 g(1 lb)Blue Cheese, Crumbled
30 ml(2 tbsp)Flour
250 ml(1 cup)Milk
To TasteSalt and Pepper
To TasteNutmeg
15 ml(1 tbsp)Sour Cream
Dippers: crusty bread, toast, vegetables, cooked ham, cooked sausage, etc.

1. Cut the clove of garlic in half and rub each half inside the fondue pot. Discard the garlic when done.

2. Turn on the burner on low and melt the butter in the cheese fondue pot.cheese fondue pot

3. Add the flour and milk and mix well.

4. Add the cheese one hand full at a time. Increase the temperature a little.

5. With a wooden spoon, mix well and stir regularly. Don't let the mixture come to a boil.

6. Add salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste.

7. When the fondue is hot enough (but not boiling), add the sour cream, mix well and serve.

8. Dip your pieces of bread and other dippers into the delicious melted blue cheese.

9. Enjoy and repeat. Keep stirring the cheese to make sure it doesn't burn at the bottom.
