Fondue Dipping Sauces
for Meatball Fondue

In order to be perfect, a fondue with meatballs must have the right fondue dipping sauces that complement the taste of your meatballs. Here are a few dip recipes that I recommend for you and your guests.


Cottage Cheese Dip

30 ml(2 tbsp)Cottage cheese
15 ml(1 tbsp)Mayonnaise
15 ml(1 tbsp)Green onions, chopped
15 ml(1 tbsp)Parsley, chopped
5 ml(1 tsp)Tabasco sauce
2 ml(1/2 tsp)Garlic powder
Salt and pepper

1. Mix all ingredients.

2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated.

4. Serve.


Pickled Beet Dip

125 ml(1/2 cup)Pickled beets with juice, chopped
30 ml(2 tbsp)Mayonnaise
15 ml(1 tbsp)Cream, 35%
5 ml(1 tsp)Parsley, chopped
5 ml(1 tsp)Chives, chopped
Salt and pepper

1. Mix all ingredients.

2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated.

4. Serve.


Guacamole Dip

125 ml(1/2 cup)Ripe avocado, mashed
15 ml(1 tbsp)Lemon juice
125 ml(1/2 cup)Plain yogurt
125 ml(1/2 cup)Sour cream
45 ml(3 tbsp)Pine nuts, crushed
5 ml(1 tsp)Green onions, chopped
2 ml(1/2 tsp)Tabasco sauce
Salt and pepper

1. Mix the avocado flesh with the lemon juice.

2. Mix with the rest of the ingredients.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste.

4. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated.

5. Serve.


Cranberry Dip

150 ml(2/3 cup)Mayonnaise
30 ml(2 tbsp)Canned cranberry
5 ml(1 tsp)Lemon juice
Salt and pepper

1. Mix all the ingredients.

2. Add salt and pepper to taste.

3. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated.

4. Serve.



Sweet and Sour Dip

125 ml(1/2 cup)White vinegar
125 ml(1/2 cup)Ketchup (tomato sauce)
125 ml(1/2 cup)Sugar
Salt and pepper

1. Heat all ingredients in a small pot.

2. Mix well and heat long enough to ensure the sugar fully dissolves.

3. Serve warm or cold.

4. If prepared ahead of time, keep refrigerated.
